Staying healthy while on vacation is essential. It’s sad when someone in the family gets ill while on vacation.
That may mean mom or dad has to stay in the cabin with the ill child, while the other family members carry on with vacation!
Let’s face it, an illness at any time is not ideal.
Here are some tips that I’ve learned from traveling that might help you travel a bit more healthy:
#1 Some vacations require inoculations. Try to get these at least a month to 3 weeks before you go, if possible. If you get a reaction to the inoculation, it’s best to be close to home with your general practitioner.
#2 A few days before your vacation, take vitamin C tablets, and the product Airborne ™ to try and minimize the impact of germ contact. This is especially true if flying.
#3 Try and rest up. Sleeping close to 8 hours is good.
# 4 Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated is key to reducing headaches, dry skin and fatigue while exploring a new destination.
